:)Just wondering if there were any members from Africa and if so what are yall's views on the relations between black Americans and Africans? How are black Americans viewed where you are from? Anybody really can answer this question... ;)

If there were snow that wouldn't melt and yet would remain pristine, that would be something to see, wouldn't it?

I am from Nigeria, and in nigeria people think the black americans have forgotten their culture with the way they act, talk and behave. Nigerians pride themselves on educations, respect of elders, how we act and talk, and it icks some nigerians seeing how black americans act.

do some nigerians view black americans as inferior to them because they "forgot their culture"?

Very good question.

I think there may be many African Americans who have fantasies about 'returning home' to a continent of people who will embrace us. From what I read, this may not be the case. I see the media influence on our kids. Television has impacted our visions of ourselves; others of as well. Note our American assimilation into the bad guys, ballers and buffoons which reflects poorly on those who may be our ancestors. I would like to chat with other Africans more...
